What We Do
Prime Publishing exists for one reason: the roof insurance claim process is confusing, and the people going through it deserve straight answers.
Homeowners get handed estimates they can't read and settlements they don't understand. Contractors watch legitimate work go unpaid because the documentation wasn't there. In both cases, the gap isn't effort — it's knowledge. The process is learnable. Nobody teaches it.
So we publish guides that teach it. Every Prime Publishing title is written in plain language, organized around what actually happens on a claim, and focused on one thing: helping the reader understand the process well enough to handle their part of it correctly.
We're a division of Prime Marketing LLC, based in Alabama. Our first titles are The Roof Claim Playbook for homeowners and The Contractor's Supplement Template Pack for roofing professionals — with more claim-education titles on the way.
About the Author
Prime Publishing's claim-education titles are written by Christopher Joffrion. He began his career as a catastrophe adjuster, deployed across the United States handling wind and hail claims along with commercial and residential total-loss fire and water losses for some of the largest insurance carriers in the country.
Since 2010 he has also worked as a roofer — documenting storm damage, building supplements, and carrying claims through from the contractor's side. Having worked both the carrier side and the contractor side of the claim, he writes from direct experience: how claims are actually evaluated, where they stall, and what a properly documented file requires.
Over the years he's built a serious network across the industry — appraisers, roofing companies, mitigation companies, attorneys, umpires, and general contractors. These guides are built on that experience.
